This page details the type of training we can provide, as well as a complete list of the GIS training courses offered. Each course has a matrix that will show whether we offer it in the classroom, live-online, or as a self-paced product.
Traditional Classroom GIS Training
Traditional classroom courses are held between 8:30 – 4:00 Central Time. However, times will vary based on whether they are a full-day or half-day course. Given that classroom-style GIS training courses are one of the most popular options for organizations, we provide discounted prices and free seats for a small number of students. See our Custom GIS Group Training page for more information.
Self-Paced GIS Training
Our Self-Paced classes are conducted through our online training platform. You can complete training at your own pace with our pre-recorded lectures and materials. The same applies to the exercises. In addition, you will have access to the instructor via email, phone, or chat if you have questions or problems. Above all, it is our goal is to get everyone through the materials during the session dates. However, access to the course materials never expires so if you don’t finish during the session dates you can still access the materials.
Live-Online GIS Training
Live-Online GIS Training courses are accessed through our online training platform. In the weeks leading up to the course, you will receive preparation emails from your instructor. These emails will have important instructions, such as where to download the course materials and exercise data. Classes start at 9:30 AM and run to either 1:30 or 4:30 PM depending on the course.
