Introduction
This full-day course focuses on how to navigate and create content within the ArcGIS Online platform. You will learn about the diverse apps that exist for use in ArcGIS Online, as well as various components of administering and managing your ArcGIS Online account, including how to manage credits, members, and share settings for individuals and groups. You will also learn the various ways to create, access, and share content and how to manage hosted feature services.
The bulk of the course will focus on how to access content and create custom maps in the new Map Viewer. You will gain hands-on experience in customizing basemaps, pop-ups, labels, and symbology and how to share and embed maps and apps with others.

Hardware and Software:
You will need a free public account or higher level licensing and a computer. You will need to know your AGOL credentials prior to the start of class.
