ArcGIS Pro Shorts Series: Integration with ArcGIS Online

The new ArcGIS Pro Shorts Series is a series of short, 4 hour (1/2 day) classes designed with a focus on a specific ArcGIS Pro topic. These classes provide a more focused, deep-dive study into a variety of topics.

ArcGIS Pro and AGOL are tightly integrated.  In Pro you can publish local content as maps or layers in AGOL, and AGOL content can be viewed, and in some cases, edited in Pro.  AGOL also provides basemaps for Pro along with maps and layers that can be added as content in Pro.

In this class, we will explore a number of topics related to the integration between ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online. You’ll learn how to search for and add ArcGIS Online content to ArcGIS Pro including layers and maps. In addition, you’ll learn how to publish content from ArcGIS Pro to ArcGIS Online, and take advantage of basemap layers that are streamed from ArcGIS Online to ArcGIS Pro.

  • Module 1: Introduction to ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online Integration
  • Module 2: Accessing ArcGIS Online Content in ArcGIS Pro
  • Module 3: Searching for ArcGIS Online Content in ArcGIS Pro
  • Module 4: Publishing ArcGIS Pro Content to ArcGIS Onloine
